In 1997, D&R was established in Dallas, Texas as a minority owned company by Frank H. Rhee and Henry Dunlap III. The origin of D&R goes back to 1992, the year Black Belt Security was founded by Frank H. Rhee.
In February of 1997, D&R merged with Black Belt Security, Inc. The merger provided strengthened personnel assets and financial structure as well as the ability to provide better quality service. The continued success of D&R has resulted in the company's upgraded status from a security firm to a security and private investigations firm. This change took place in July 1998.
D&R reorganized in March, 2004 with Frank Rhee as the sole minority owner of the company. This change has allowed D&R to focus on community security accounts within the Asian Trade District. This change has increased D&R's strength in the security and private investigations field.
In July of 2010, D&R is 8(a) certified by
the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) which allows us to participate in various government programs.
D&R is credited with possessing strong managerial skills and experience in the areas of high-rise accommodations, public relations, hospitals, malls, banks and community patrol. Our Goal is to meet our client's continually changing and developing needs. |
